Watch Service Terms and Conditions L.M. Campbell, LLC. Version 2026-10-16.1 | October 16, 2026 1 About your agreement Your provider is L.M. Campbell, LLC., an independent Texas watch-service business. The contract is with the company; acting for it does not create a personal guarantee by its owner or representatives. This does not exclude personal liability imposed by law. We are not affiliated with or authorized by watch manufacturers. All prices are in U.S. dollars. These terms apply to the job for which you accept them; later website edits do not change an existing agreement. 2 Your watch and authority You must own the watch or have permission to request the proposed work. Give accurate contact, condition, history and value information, and disclose known damage, modifications and hazards. Do not send identification documents, accessories or valuables we have not agreed to receive. We may decline unsafe, unlawful or unsuitable work. 3 An inquiry is only a first step Submitting a request authorizes no charge, repair or shipment. We confirm scope, fees and the shipping plan before you proceed. Ordinary preliminary review of a repair inquiry and photos is free. Paid photographic authentication is a separate service with a documented report. 4 Inspection and evaluation fees A standard physical repair inspection is $65, confirmed before shipment and waived if you approve the repair estimate. It applies to a completed assessment if you decline repairs or repair is uneconomical or impossible. Detailed vintage evaluation may instead require a separately approved $125 deposit, credited toward approved restoration. Unless separately agreed, it replaces the $65 fee. We disclose the work and any reassembly cost first, earn the deposit as authorized evaluation is performed, and refund any unearned balance. Shipping is separate. Online photographic authentication is $100; physical/in-person authentication is $300. Those fees follow the separate Authentication Terms and do not automatically include repair inspection. 5 Estimates and authorization Your written estimate defines the work, parts, price, deposits, expected timing and limitations. Only your express approval authorizes that work. Additional work, price increases, irreversible cosmetic changes and off-site specialist handling need approval. If a new problem is discovered, we pause affected work and explain your options. Estimates are not guarantees of a repair outcome or completion date unless expressly stated. 6 Payment Pay only an approved deposit or verified invoice. Unless agreed otherwise, the balance is due before return. PayPal processes online invoice payments; available methods depend on provider eligibility. A website success screen does not establish settlement: provider records control reconciliation. Taxes, shipping, kit fees and other charges are disclosed before approval. No undisclosed late or cancellation penalties apply. Payment does not waive a complaint or dispute right. 7 Cancellation and refunds Contact us in writing to cancel. We stop uncompleted work as reasonably practicable. You owe only approved work actually completed and disclosed, unavoidable commitments, including agreed shipping, special-order parts or safe reassembly. We itemize charges, apply deposits and reduce avoidable costs. We refund unearned amounts and do not charge the full price of unperformed work. If we cannot perform, we charge only separately authorized, properly completed work that retains value. We initiate an undisputed refund within 10 business days after determining the amount, or sooner when required by law. Properly completed work is not refundable solely because you change your mind; warranty and legal remedies remain. 8 Vintage condition and originality Age, corrosion, past work and unavailable parts can limit results. We use reasonable care and explain known material risks. Opening or disassembly can reveal existing failures; this is not permission for careless work. We do not promise factory specifications, like-new condition, increased value or originality of every part. Polishing, refinishing, reluming and visible substitutions require approval. Repair service is not an authentication or appraisal unless expressly included. 9 Parts and service records The estimate identifies material replacement-part choices and any approved exchange requirement. We document the work, relevant tests and limitations. Request return of removed parts before work begins; hazardous and approved exchange parts may not be returnable. Approved aftermarket or restored components will be identified where known. 10 Water resistance and care Water resistance changes with age, seals, impact and use. A historical rating is not a present guarantee. We report any agreed pressure test and its limits. Do not expose the watch to water without an appropriate current assessment. Avoid operating crowns or pushers underwater and follow the supplied care instructions. 11 Declared value and liability agreement Before shipment, disclose the full reasonable replacement value for a comparable watch. We separately confirm an Agreed Liability Limit in writing and obtain your acceptance. The proposed standard property limit is $2,500 per watch unless we expressly accept a higher amount before shipment. Declared value alone does not increase that limit. Checking the inquiry consent box does not separately accept a property limit. If an appropriate arrangement cannot be agreed, do not ship. 12 Shipping and custody Wait for a written plan identifying the watch, addresses, carrier/service, costs, packaging, signature requirements, declared value, liability limit and confirmed protection. Unless the plan assigns transit risk to us or law requires otherwise, accidental inbound risk remains with you until actual acceptance by us or our authorized receiving agent; accidental return risk passes when the carrier physically accepts the properly addressed package. We remain responsible for our breach or negligence, subject only to lawful limits. In our custody we use reasonable care. A carrier label or declared value is not insurance. Any separate coverage, limit, deductible, exclusions and claim procedure must be confirmed in writing. Carrier and insurer decisions do not erase obligations we independently owe. 13 Watch Concierge Kit and shipment records The Watch Concierge Kit is optional and carries an additional service fee quoted before acceptance. Repair or authentication prices do not include it. The quote states what you keep or return, label direction/service, shipping charges, any deposit and AirTag setup/sharing and return or reset arrangements. The kit includes a hard protective case, AirTag, FedEx label, wire tamper seal, ShockWatch indicator on the outer box. AirTag updates depend on the Find My network and are not continuous GPS tracking. A seal or indicator documents certain events; neither guarantees prevention of damage, theft or loss. Follow written packing instructions, obtain a carrier acceptance receipt, and retain photos and packaging. Report loss or damage promptly; a requested seven-day visible-damage notice assists claims and does not automatically forfeit rights. 14 Service warranty Our workmanship has a 12-month limited warranty from the service completion date recorded on your service record. Contact us before arranging third-party corrective work so we can assess the issue. The warranty covers defects in our performed work, not unrelated faults, normal wear, impact, misuse or water exposure outside documented capability. We correct covered work without a labor charge; other legally required remedies remain. Agreed shipping responsibility and any parts warranty are stated in the service record. Authentication opinions have the remedies in the separate Authentication Terms. 15 Collection and unclaimed watches Keep contact details current and arrange payment and return promptly. We provide written notice before lawful storage charges or an unclaimed-property process. We do not gain ownership because a response is late. Any lien, sale or disposal requires the process and notice permitted by applicable law. 16 Financial responsibility and limits To the extent enforceable, physical loss or damage is limited to the lesser of proven direct loss and the separately accepted Agreed Liability Limit. Without separate acceptance, this clause does not impose the proposed $2,500 ceiling. For other service claims, the proposed limit is fees paid for the affected service; indirect, speculative, sentimental and lost-profit damages are excluded only where lawful. Limits extend in aggregate to the company and its representatives acting for it, including Mark Campbell, and are intended to cover ordinary negligence only where enforceable. They never exclude fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, intentional theft or conversion, personal injury or death, mandatory consumer remedies, or express warranty obligations. There is no duplicate recovery for the same loss. Nothing requires waiver of lawful insurance subrogation or repayment of insurance proceeds otherwise owed to you. 17 Customer-caused third-party claims To the extent lawful, you reimburse the company and its representatives for reasonable, documented third-party losses caused by your lack of authority, materially false information, unlawful instructions, negligence or willful misconduct. Responsibility is limited to your contribution, excluding our negligence, wrongdoing or legal violations and your good-faith complaint, review or consumer claim. We give prompt notice and reasonable cooperation. A defense or settlement may not impose an admission or obligation on the other party without consent. No indemnity demand authorizes a payment-card charge. 18 Disputes and governing law Contact us with your reference, concern and requested resolution. Discussions do not suspend filing deadlines or require delay of a complaint. Texas and applicable federal law govern, preserving mandatory protections elsewhere. Subject to mandatory venue rules, disputes may be brought in courts with jurisdiction in Harris County, Texas; eligible small claims may use any legally permitted venue. These terms impose no arbitration requirement, jury waiver or class-action waiver. Nonwaivable consumer rights, including Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act rights, remain. 19 Privacy We use service information and photos for evaluation, fulfillment, records, security and claims as described in the Privacy Policy. Relevant providers receive information only as needed or required by law. Agreement acceptance is not marketing permission. Photos and serials will not be published for promotion without separate permission. Provide only necessary information. 20 Electronic records By accepting, you consent to job communications, terms, estimates, approvals and invoices by email or downloadable web record. You need an email account, current browser and ability to save or print HTML/text. Ask for a free paper copy, update your email or withdraw future electronic-delivery consent by contacting us. Withdrawal does not undo prior approvals; we arrange a lawful alternative without a withdrawal penalty. We record server receipt time, accepted version and agreement hash; you can retain the linked archived terms. 21 Changes and enforceability Changes to an existing job require express agreement; silence is not approval. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest continues as law permits. A one-time exception is not a permanent waiver. These terms do not restrict truthful reviews, lawful reports or cooperation with authorities. No wording guarantees that a court will enforce a limit. 22 Contact Email service@lmcampbellinc.com or use Request Service and include your job reference. Existing-job or privacy messages do not replace a previously accepted agreement. Do not ship until we confirm the receiving address and plan in writing.
