About L.M. Campbell

I brought the name back because it already meant something to my family.

The old business and the current one are not the same company in the historical sense. What connects them is family, watches, and a standard I want the Campbell name to stand for again.

Watchmaker workbench and mechanical watch service

Today

A small watch-service business by design.

I want to keep this small enough that your watch never gets lost in a process. I'll explain what I'm doing in plain language, communicate directly, and make decisions about originality or added cost with you — not for you.

That matters even more with family watches and vintage pieces. Sometimes the right answer is a full overhaul. Sometimes it is a smaller repair. And sometimes the best advice is that a particular job does not make economic sense.

What I’m Trying to Build

Service that feels accountable.

Heritage only matters if the current business earns its own trust.

01

Direct communication

Questions should get plain answers, especially when the answer is “I need to inspect it first.”

02

Careful decisions

Original parts and visible character are considered before cosmetic changes are made.

03

Reasonable economics

I do not want someone spending money on a repair without understanding whether it makes sense.

04

A record to keep

Good service should leave behind useful documentation for the next owner, the next service, or the next generation.
